Nagaland Renewable Energy Advisor Inspects Key Solar and Hydro Projects

Kohima: Advisor for New and Renewable Energy, Er. Picto Shohe, conducted inspections of two significant power projects in Nagaland on June 12. His site visits included the 10 MW solar power plant located at Hovukhu village in the Niuland district and the 2x75 KW Noiroi Stage-II hydroelectric facility in Punglwa village, Peren.

During the trip, the MLA held discussions with department officials to evaluate the current status of these installations and oversee broader departmental activities throughout the state. While praising the work completed so far, he encouraged staff members to maintain their commitment to the regional energy infrastructure.

Shohe urged the team to continue extending full support and cooperation towards strengthening the renewable energy sector in Nagaland.
