Imphal: The Naga Women’s Union is demanding answers for the brutal murder of six Naga men. These brothers were kidnapped on May 13 and later found dead. Their bodies were mutilated and beheaded by June 10, 2026. The group blames the KNP-P insurgency for the violence.

Justice has not arrived. Officials have failed to track down those responsible for the killings. The union claims that political elites and high-level militants are avoiding accountability.

The group issued a blunt statement: "A month and a half have passed since the victims were abducted on 13 May and subsequently found dead in a mutilated, beheaded, and dismembered condition on 10th June, 2026."

Tensions are rising as the NWU tracks government activity. They claim security forces, including the CoBRA Unit and CRPF, are helping the Kuki community move through Naga areas. This move infuriates the grieving families. The union wants this transport stopped immediately until the investigation yields real results.

Security forces also faced criticism for a raid at Namdilong on June 24. Soldiers used excessive force against civilians during that morning operation. The union warned that the government carries full blame for any future fallout from these aggressive tactics.
