Imphal: A truck driver from Nagaland was rescued on Friday night in Malom, Manipur, after escaping his vehicle in fear for his safety. The driver, identified as Luchiko from Meluri, was traveling toward Churachandpur as the secondary operator of a truck carrying steel rolls. According to Kasar, the organization is now coordinating with the Tangkhul Katamnao Long Imphal and the Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong to ensure he reaches his hometown in Meluri safely. Authorities report that the primary driver, Ashu, remains at large.
