Imphal: The Naga People's Organisation (NPO) is calling on village authorities and booth level officers in the Senapati district to handle the current Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls with care. The organization stressed that these local officials must perform their duties sincerely and diligently to ensure the process is handled with total fairness.

The enumeration phase launched on May 30 and is scheduled to run through June 28. To keep the process moving, the NPO has instructed citizens to ensure all enumeration forms are properly filled out and signed before being returned to their respective booth level officers.

Describing the general public as the most important stakeholders, the NPO requested that all residents cooperate fully with officers conducting house visits. The group emphasized that maintaining accurate and inclusive records is vital for the health of local governance. As the organisation stated, the objective is to ensure accuracy, inclusiveness, and integrity of the electoral rolls.
