Imphal: The Naga People's Front headquarters in Senapati district was vandalized on Thursday night. The attack occurred during widespread public unrest following the discovery of six bodies believed to be Naga men abducted on May 13.

The United Naga Council confirmed the victims were found dead, alleging that the men had been mutilated and dismembered by armed militants. The incident has fueled anger across Naga-inhabited areas as protesters blame the Manipur state government for failing to protect innocent civilians.

Visuals from the scene at Liangmai Taphou showed the office in complete disarray. While no injuries were reported during the vandalism, police have yet to make any arrests. The United Naga Council stated that the victims were "mutilated and dismembered" after being held by militants.

Organizations across the region continue to demand justice for the victims and stricter security measures. Officials from the Naga People's Front and the Manipur government have not yet issued formal statements regarding the destruction of the party office.
