Kohima: The Extra Assistant Commissioner of Mon, Kedoseno Rino, has issued a formal call for nominations for the 2026 Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar. Local officers are tasked with identifying meritorious children under the age of 18 within their jurisdictions who demonstrate exceptional talent or service.
Eligible candidates can be recognized for achievements across six distinct categories: bravery, social service, environment, sports, art and culture, and science and technology. The notification explicitly instructs officials to "ensure that eligible candidates are identified and recommended within the stipulated timeframe."
All nominations must be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner’s Office by July 20, 2026. This deadline ensures that local authorities have sufficient time to process the applications and submit them through the official portal for national consideration.
