Shillong: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) arrested three suspected drug traffickers during a targeted operation in the Tikrikilla area of Meghalaya's West Garo Hills district. Authorities seized illicit narcotics valued at approximately ₹9 lakh throughout the course of the raid.

Meghalaya Police officials confirmed that the arrests are part of a broader, ongoing effort to combat illegal drug trafficking across the state. While the three suspects remain in police custody, law enforcement agencies are continuing their investigation into the case.

Official sources described the successful operation as a direct move against criminal networks operating in the region. The state police maintain that this action reinforces their commitment to curbing the spread of narcotics in Meghalaya.
