Accompanied by senior police officials, the DGP aimed to address regional concerns through these direct interactions.

Addressing the current security strategy, Singh spoke to Ukhrul Times regarding his approach to local law enforcement. He stated, "I have interacted with civil society organizations in both Kangpokpi and Senapati and also with the district superintendents (SP) who are here, they have briefed me about the current situation and the steps to be taken. There are some realignments of security forces that will happen depending upon the feedback of the district SPs."

The police chief emphasized a commitment to neutral, legal action and hopes to rebuild community trust through new outreach programs. Following his engagements in Senapati, Singh traveled to the Mao Police Station for an overnight stay as he continues his assessment tour across the state.
