Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh surveyed a busted water supply pipeline at L. Champhai Village in Kangpokpi district. The line, which connects Leimakhong and Kangchup under the PHED Maintenance Division-I, suffered severe damage. Unidentified miscreants cut the pipe during the ongoing state crisis. Residents now face significant supply disruptions.

Singh toured the site alongside MLAs Haokholet Kipgen, Kh. Joykishan Singh, and H. Dingo Singh. Kangpokpi District Administration and PHED Department officials also joined the inspection. The Chief Minister ordered PHED staff to fix the break fast. He demanded the agency "take immediate steps to reconnect the damaged pipeline and restore the water supply at the earliest."

Restoring this infrastructure remains a top priority. The state government wants to ensure the public regains reliable access to water without further delay.
