Longleng Officials Distribute Aid to Landslide Victims

Kohima: Longleng authorities handed out food aid on August 1, 2026. The relief reached families hit hard by recent landslides. The District Administration and the District Disaster Management Authority led the distribution effort. ADC Longleng Thungchanbemo Tungoe oversaw the mission.

Teams delivered supplies to Orangkong Village, Hamlikong Village, and multiple wards within Longleng town. The Lion’s Club International Foundation donated all materials for the families. This effort provides a primary safety net for the victims.
