Kohima: Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, visited training sessions for the 2027 Census of India on June 10. During his meetings with enumerators and supervisors at the DC Office Complex, he underscored the significant impact that precise data collection has on future policy and development planning.

Buchem described the upcoming House Listing Operation and Population Enumeration as a historic task. He encouraged the field staff to approach their duties with dedication, noting that they are the frontline workforce responsible for gathering essential national information. He assured the teams that administrative officials and the Directorate of Census Operations remain committed to providing them with full support throughout the process.
