Agartala: Kalyanpur Higher Secondary School hosted a special awareness event for Ayurveda Day 2026. Students, teachers, and health workers attended the session. The West Dwarikapur Ayushman Arogya Mandir organized the gathering to promote healthy habits and India's ancient medical roots among the youth.
Speakers highlighted how natural elements and balanced nutrition keep the mind and body sharp. They pushed for better discipline in daily life. Dr. Supriya Barman of Kalyanpur Hospital warned that modern life is hurting people. He said, "Modern lifestyles are marked by irregular diets, lack of exercise, and stress."
Barman urged the students to prioritize rest and physical activity. He believes early awareness is the key to a healthier generation. The program also covered personal hygiene and preventive health measures. Teachers backed the doctor's claims. They reminded the school that Ayurveda is a scientific system that works alongside modern medicine.
The event drew strong support from the local school community. Organizers now want to turn these lessons into a long-term habit. They hope to link schools and health centers to improve public wellness.
