Kohima: Jubilee Memorial College in Dimapur recently hosted its Student Induction Programme 2026 at the college hall. Organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell, the event aimed to welcome and orient newly admitted students to their academic surroundings.
Principal Dr. Imtiwati Jamir opened the event with a keynote address following an invocation by Livi Awomi. Throughout the day, faculty members led sessions covering essential student resources, including the college code of conduct led by Asst. Prof. Alemjungla, digital transaction procedures presented by office assistant John Diengdoh, and various skill-based course options introduced by Asst. Prof. Tsungrosenla Jamir.
The programme also focused on student wellbeing and personal development. Counsellor Yimnayanger addressed the importance of mental health, while Bendangsunep Ani and alumna Aochila Allen Amer shared personal insights during motivational talks titled "My Academic Journey." These sessions provided the incoming class with a broad introduction to the academic and personal support systems available at the institution.
