Itanagar: The Indian Army has inaugurated an upgraded community hall and Gompa in Senge, Arunachal Pradesh. Located at an altitude of 9,300 feet, the project was completed under Operation Sadbhavna to bolster infrastructure and preserve the cultural heritage of residents in this remote border region.
Guru Tulku Rinpoche presided over the inauguration, adding spiritual weight to the ceremony. The work was carried out by the Gajraj Corps, frequently referred to as the Sela Warriors. Officials stated the facility will act as a central hub for social gatherings, community events, and religious practices.
Representatives described the development as a reflection of the organization's focus on local welfare. According to military officials, the project demonstrates the Army's dedication to its duty, noting that the initiative "reflects the Indian Army’s continued commitment to community empowerment and welfare in frontier areas." This development is viewed as a successful model for fostering stronger ties between the military and local populations in strategically vital border territories.
