Imphal: Imphal officially joins the rotation for the 135th Indian Oil Durand Cup. The historic Khuman Lampak Stadium will host league-stage action from July 28 to August 17. It also landed a quarter-final slot.

The Durand Cup Organising Committee named Imphal as one of five host cities. The tournament stretches across Kolkata, Ranchi, Shillong, and Guwahati. Play starts in Kolkata on July 25. The final hits the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on August 23.

Local squads TRAU FC and NEROCA FC anchor the Manipur leg. They join the Indian Navy Football Team and debutants FC Raengdai on the pitch. These teams represent a small portion of the 24 clubs fighting for the title.

"The competition will begin in Kolkata on July 25 and conclude with the final at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on August 23," the committee stated. The field features a mix of Indian Super League clubs, I-League teams, Services squads, and one international team split into six groups.
