Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee president Gaurav Gogoi blasted the Election Commission for altering Form-6. The document is used for voter registration. Speaking in Dibrugarh, the MP claimed these changes represent a massive irregularity. The process is broken.

Gogoi noted that Rahul Gandhi previously warned about problems within the nation's voter lists. He further alleged that the Supreme Court refused to endorse these specific registration modifications. The details remain unverified.

The Congress leader took aim at the commission staff directly. "Even officials within the Election Commission themselves admit that the modifications made to Form-6 are entirely unlawful and illegal," Gogoi stated. He insisted this irregularity cannot be hidden from the public eye. The party continues to monitor the electoral roll process closely.
