Five Men from Assam Die in Arunachal Pradesh Road Accident

Guwahati: A fatal road accident in Arunachal Pradesh claimed the lives of five men from Assam’s Lakhimpur district on Saturday. The incident occurred on National Highway 13 near Tatatara village in the East Kameng district when the group’s SUV veered off the road and fell into a deep gorge near the Pagaso stream.

Four of the men died at the scene, while the fifth victim passed away while being transported to a hospital. Authorities identified the deceased as Bulbul Ali, Noor Hussain, Abul Hussain, Amzad Ali, and Saidul Islam, all of whom resided in Bhorolua village within the Nowboicha area.

The victims were traveling to the Seppa market for business purposes when the tragedy struck. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle lost control during rainy weather conditions before plummeting off the highway. Local residents and emergency responders arrived shortly after to conduct a rescue operation.
