Federal Government of Nagaland Rejects Impeachment of Kilo Kilonser

Kohima: The Federal Government of Nagaland has rejected the recent impeachment of Kitoho Zhimomi, a senior functionary within the organization. In a formal rejoinder, the Ministry of Information and Publicity clarified that the council of kilonsers and the tatars hoho had no prior knowledge of the move to remove Zhimomi from his position.

Officials stated that the council did not participate in any meetings or deliberations regarding the matter. Consequently, the administration does not recognize the removal as a valid or authorized action. The Ministry dismissed allegations that Zhimomi had defected between seven different Naga political groups over the past eighteen months, labeling those claims as entirely baseless.

By distancing the leadership from the reported action, the ministry effectively declared the removal “not official.” The FGN maintains that because the council was not consulted and did not approve the proceedings, the decision carries no weight within the organization.
