Guwahati: Abul Hussen disappeared from the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital around midnight on October 4. He is 71 years old. The man arrived from Herapati in the Nagaon district seeking treatment for an eye condition. He checked into the hospital's eye department this past Saturday.

Hussen left the facility under unknown circumstances. He remains missing. His family filed a formal complaint at the Bhangagarh police station to trigger an official search. Hospital leadership has yet to address how a patient managed to walk off the premises unnoticed.

The family is desperate for help. They released a statement saying, "Anyone who has information about his whereabouts has been asked to contact 6000617713 or inform the nearest police station." Authorities have not confirmed if a search operation is currently underway or if any leads exist in the investigation.
