Kohima: Students from nine different schools gathered at the Nagaland Science Centre in Dimapur on September 18 for a crash course in electronics. The workshop, titled Arduino Fundamentals: From Ideas to Reality, pushed kids into the world of hardware and code.
The event split into two clear sessions. The morning start covered basic concepts before the technical session kicked off. K Moatemsu Aier, the electronics technician at the center, led the hands-on coding exercises. He guided the group through practical tasks to bridge the gap between theory and hardware functionality. It was time to build.
Sosangtemjen, the Junior Scientific Officer, opened the day with a formal welcome address. Organizers aimed to spark interest in technology through experiential learning rather than just lectures. They confirmed the initiative gave students vital exposure to the field. Everyone walked away with a certificate. As organizers noted, the day "successfully offered students valuable practical exposure to electronics and programming, inspiring them to explore technology through experiential learning."
