Dimapur Students Explore Future of Artificial Intelligence at Beanstalk School Workshop

Kohima: Students at Beanstalk School in Dimapur recently took part in an interactive workshop focused on artificial intelligence. The June 12 event, organized by the firm instudia, introduced local students to emerging technologies and demonstrated how AI tools can function as effective study assistants to improve academic productivity.

During the session, instudia Director Daniel Changkija urged the youth to transition from passive technology users to active creators. He noted that the organization aims to provide students with high-quality technological exposure to prepare them for a workforce shaped by automation.

Resource person Vishal Bardewa guided the group through a hands-on technical session that emphasized the importance of balancing AI use with genuine skill development. He argued that technology should streamline routine tasks to allow for deeper focus on critical thinking and creative pursuits. "AI isn't about replacing your brain; it's about upgrading your toolkit," Bardewa told the participants.

The event closed with a discussion period where students examined the role of AI in creative industries. The participants also explored essential topics including academic integrity, data security, and the ethical implications of using advanced technology in everyday life.
