Imphal: The Government of Manipur has appointed IAS officer Dharun Kumar S as the new Deputy Commissioner of Senapati district. This leadership change follows an official order from the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms issued on May 24, 2026.
Dharun Kumar S moves to his new post after previously serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur. He takes over the role from Mamoni Doley, who held the position of Senapati Deputy Commissioner since May 18, 2023.
The administrative transfer was finalized in the public interest and received formal concurrence from the Election Commission of India. Dharun Kumar S enters the role with significant recognition for his past work, having recently been named one of Fame India’s 100 Best District Magistrates for his public service and leadership.
