BJP Nagaland Demands Justice After West Bengal Church Vandalism

Kohima: BJP Nagaland condemned the destruction of the Presbyterian Church of India in Subhasgram. Vandals hit the site on July 5 within the Sonarpur Police Station limits. The party described the event as an unacceptable act of violence and intimidation against the Christian minority in a secular country.

Party leaders demanded a transparent, fact-based investigation into the crime. They want local authorities to hold the perpetrators accountable immediately. No group stands above the law. The party insisted on strict adherence to due process to protect the constitutional rights of all citizens.

The unit expressed firm solidarity with the Bangiya Christiya Pariseba. They called for increased security measures at minority institutions nationwide to prevent future attacks. Officials must track down those responsible for the damage. The BJP maintains that these acts are unlawful and irresponsible regardless of religious identity.
