Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with a delegation from the All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union on July 25 at Loksewa Bhawan. The talks centered on the long-term needs of the Koch Rajbongshi people. Leaders discussed how to boost socio-economic progress for the community.
State officials stood by the Chief Minister during the meeting. Attendees included Minister Ashwini Ray Sarkar and MLAs Jibesh Ray, Dharmeswar Roy, and Rupam Chandra Ray. Bodoland Territorial Council Executive Member Karmeswar Ray and Kamatpur Autonomous Council Chairman Hiteswar Barman also joined the session.
Sarma addressed the group after the meeting. "The state government remains committed to addressing the concerns of the Koch Rajbongshi community through continued dialogue and development-oriented initiatives." He emphasized that future work will focus on the welfare and aspirations of the population.
