Chief Minister Pema Khandu applauded the athlete for his performance. He credited the win to the Chief Minister’s Athlete Coaching and Empowerment Scheme, a program designed to back local talent. Khandu emphasized that success requires grit and discipline. He kept it direct when addressing the win. "Congratulations, Khyoda! You’ve made Arunachal proud and shown that our athletes belong on the biggest stages," the Chief Minister said.
