Itanagar: Naharlagun police arrested 30-year-old Arjun Juga for a string of LPG cylinder thefts. Officers took the IG Park Colony resident into custody on Juli Road this past Thursday, September 3. Detectives tracked his movements after reports of multiple cylinders vanishing from homes across the area.

Police acted fast. ICR Naharlagun Superintendent of Police Nyelam Nega confirmed that officers registered a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. An investigation team studied the thief's methods and identified Juga as the primary suspect.

Inspector Krishnendu Dev led the operation under the watch of Sub-Divisional Police Officer Rishi Longdo. The team conducted a series of coordinated raids based on information provided during questioning. Nega stated, "Following the interrogation of the accused, multiple coordinated raids were conducted at different locations, leading to the recovery of all 23 stolen LPG cylinders."

The force cleared the case. Nega urged local residents to stay alert and secure their property. He warned that habitual criminals specifically hunt for unattended houses to strike.
