Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Minister Ojing Tasing wants more flexibility in rural governance reforms. He pushed for stronger coordination between federal and state leaders to fix local administrative issues. Tasing spoke at a national workshop in front of Union Panchayati Raj Minister Lalan Singh on Friday.

Rigid rules fail. Diverse states face unique geographic hurdles that a blanket national strategy cannot solve. Tasing argued that local conditions must dictate how development money gets spent. He told the assembly, "a one-size-fits-all approach would not be effective in addressing local governance needs."

Better service delivery depends on decentralization. Tasing believes that when the center and the states align their policies with regional realities, rural development gains real momentum. The meeting focused on sharpening how Panchayati Raj Institutions function across the country.
