Itanagar: Torrential rain is tearing through Arunachal Pradesh. Floods and landslides have wrecked roads, bridges, and farmland. Thousands now face displacement and uncertainty. APCC President Bosiram Siram says the state is in the grip of a relentless natural fury.

Siram wants the government to ramp up rescue and rehabilitation immediately. He urged officials to distribute food and medical aid, while demanding clear travel alerts to stop preventable tragedies. The APCC head also told the NDRF and SDRF to stay on high alert for new emergencies.

Hydroelectric dam operators must also keep watch. Siram called for round-the-clock monitoring of water levels to prevent downstream disasters. He insisted that clear warnings for local communities are mandatory. "We pray for the safety, well-being, and speedy recovery of all those affected by these devastating floods and natural disasters. At this critical juncture, collective responsibility, compassion, and swift intervention are essential to safeguard lives and provide relief to those in distress," he stated.

Congress workers are mobilizing now. Siram ordered local committees to set up "May I Help You" booths across the state. Volunteers must coordinate with authorities to help residents caught in the crisis. He warned all citizens to stay vigilant and avoid dangerous travel until the weather clears.
