Agartala: West Tripura secured a massive infrastructure boost today. The government officially cleared 56 new rural road projects under the fourth phase of the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.

These roads aim to fix connectivity gaps in remote areas. Improved travel routes help farmers reach markets and provide better access for essential services. MP Biplab Deb led the praise for the development. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the initiative, stating, "I express my gratitude to the Honorable Prime Minister for this."

The projects fall under the latest round of the federal road scheme. Officials expect the work to start as soon as administrative formalities wrap up. This move marks a significant win for the district's rural transport network.
