West Jaintia Hills Hits 99 Percent Electoral Roll Milestone

Shillong: West Jaintia Hills hit 99.33 percent coverage in the electoral roll enumeration phase. The effort spans five Assembly Constituencies. Officials confirmed the data on July 15. The work began on June 30. Since then, authorities distributed 2,20,478 forms to the public.

The District Election Officer asked residents to work with Booth Level Officers. Accuracy is the goal. Citizens must turn in their completed forms by the deadline to ensure names appear on the rolls. The officer stated, "The District Election Officer has urged all eligible electors to cooperate with Booth Level Officers (BLOs) during the process."
