Unexploded grenade found at Karbi Anglong labor camp

Kohima: A live grenade turned up at a railway labor camp near Rangapahar rail station on Sunday night. Workers narrowly avoided disaster when the device failed to explode. The camp sits in Karbi Anglong, roughly 11 kilometers from the Dimapur railway station.

The threat surfaced around 8:00 pm. It happened near the tracks leading toward Diphu. Officers from the Dhansiri Police Outpost arrived at the scene to secure the area. The explosive remains a dud.

Police have no leads. No one has been arrested, and the motive behind the attack stays unclear. According to police sources, "an FIR has been registered and investigation on." Detectives are now working to determine who left the bomb and why.
