Shillong: A morning collision killed two people Thursday. A scooter slammed into a truck near Jowai Civil Hospital at Ialong in West Jaintia Hills. The impact occurred at 11 am.
Nehlangi Suchiang, 20, and Eiseinlang Tang, 25, died on the spot. Both men lived in Thadmuthlong B. The scene was fatal.
Police have started an investigation to piece together the events. The department aims to "ascertain the circumstances leading to the fatal mishap."
