Aizawl: Authorities arrested two men after seizing 6.87 kg of opium near the India-Myanmar border. The bust went down Friday in Siaha district's Niawhtlang village. The Excise and Narcotics Department teamed up with volunteers from Mara and Lai community organizations to stop the shipment.

Police identified the suspects as 40-year-old Lesa from Zesaw village in Myanmar's Chin state and 41-year-old Chungnuamthanga from Niawhtlang.
