Guwahati: A truck packed with cargo tumbled into a deep gorge at Angarkata in Parbatjhora. The driver walked away without a scratch. The vehicle veered off the highway and rolled down the roadside slope during a trip from Guwahati to Dhubri.
Authorities have no word on other casualties. Investigators still do not know what caused the crash. Officials state, "The exact cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained." Further updates remain pending as teams sort through the wreckage.
