Agartala: The Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) has launched a new initiative to assist rural youth migrating for employment through the DDU-GKY 2.0 skill development program. By establishing Migration Support Centers and transit facilities, the mission aims to ensure that candidates moving outside the state for work experience a secure and hassle-free transition into their new professional lives.

As part of this effort, officials recently welcomed a group of DDU-GKY graduates arriving at the Bengaluru Railway Station. The support team escorted the individuals to a designated transit center, where they were provided with three days of complimentary accommodation and meals. This period allows the new employees to settle in before reporting to their respective company locations.

Supported by the Ministry of Rural Development, the program focuses on easing the challenges associated with moving to unfamiliar cities. TRLM representatives noted that these measures are designed to boost the confidence of rural candidates and ensure their overall well-being. By offering guidance and temporary living support, the mission continues its commitment to empowering youth through comprehensive skill development and dedicated post-placement assistance.
