Tripura University Hires Guest Instructors for Music Department

Agartala: Tripura University is searching for two guest instructors to bolster its music department in 2026. The university needs one instructor for violin and one for harmonium. They want applicants with specific academic credentials.

Violin candidates need an M.A. in Instrumental Music. Those applying for the harmonium post must hold an M.A. in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music and demonstrate strong harmonium skills. Instructors will earn 500 rupees per class, capped at 20,000 rupees monthly.

Interested applicants must show up for a walk-in interview on September 18, 2026. The session starts at 02:00 P.M. sharp. Meet the hiring committee at the Conference Hall on the ground floor of the Examination Building.
