Tripura's Unakoti district bags national award for Sampark project

Agartala: Unakoti District officials took home a prestigious SKOCH Award in New Delhi this week. The administration earned the prize for Sampark, a project designed to sharpen public service delivery and streamline government work. The ceremony took place at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Megha Jain and Dr. Tamal Majumdar accepted the hardware on behalf of the district. The project fell under the summit theme, "Regulatory Framework for Viksit Bharat." Judges praised the program for making government more responsive to the average citizen.

The district administration pointed to their staff as the real winners. Officials stated that the honour "reflects the team's dedication, hard work, and continuous commitment to excellence in public service."
