Tripura Processes Citizenship Applications Under CAA

Agartala: State officials in Tripura have received more than 20 applications for Indian citizenship under the provisions of the Citizenship Amendment Act. Out of these submissions, the government has already granted citizenship to two individuals.

The process is moving forward as authorities review the remaining petitions. Local officials confirmed the recent developments, stating, "Over 20 petitions received in Tripura, two applicants granted Indian citizenship."
