Agartala: Tripura is ready for a drought. State authorities are tightening their protocols to address any emerging water shortages. Officials remain on alert despite current weather forecasts.

Ratan Lal Nath confirmed the government's stance on the issue. He expects precipitation levels to hold steady through the season. "Tripura prepared to tackle drought-like situation, rainfall expected to remain normal," Nath said.

The state continues to monitor moisture levels across its districts. No immediate crisis exists. Agencies have plans in place to keep the taps running if the dry spell hits.
