Tripura Police Overhauls Station Leadership in State-Wide Reshuffle

Agartala: Tripura Police Headquarters moved 12 officers on Wednesday. The reshuffle hits seven police stations across the state. This move forces new leadership onto the street immediately. Police officials confirmed the changes serve the public interest.

Inspector Sanjit Sen leaves Belonia for West Agartala. Rana Chatterjee swaps West Agartala for Amtali. Krishnadhan Sarkar heads to East Agartala from Khowai. Paritosh Das moves from Amtali to the NCC station. Bishnu Ch. Das takes over at Srinagar, leaving Baikhora. Subimal Barman gets the post at Belonia, while Arunodaya Das goes to Baikhora and Prajit Malakar reports to Khowai.

Four women officers also rotate through the ranks. Shipra Bala Chanda moves from South Tripura to the TPCB. Munna Majumder shifts from the West Agartala Women Police Station to South Tripura. Mousumi Datta lands at Bishalgarh Women Police Station from the TPCB. Ripita Bhattacharjee moves from Bishalgarh to replace her at the West Agartala station.

The official order states: "The transfers have been made in the public interest and are effective immediately."
