Agartala: Tripura is preparing for a major tourism boost at the historic Chabimura site. Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury recently conducted an on-site inspection to evaluate the location and discuss development strategies aimed at improving facilities for visitors.

The Chabimura site is famous for its rock carvings and natural beauty along the Gomati River. Officials hope the planned infrastructure upgrades will make the area more accessible and appealing to both domestic and international travelers.

During the visit, the minister assessed current conditions and consulted with local authorities regarding the expansion project. While the specific timeline for construction remains under review, the state government considers the development of Chabimura a key priority for expanding the region's tourism footprint.
