Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha launched a new virtual version of the Mukhyamantri Samipesu program on May 20. The initiative aims to connect the administration directly with residents across the state to resolve various public grievances. By moving the program into a virtual, district-wise format, the government intends to make services more accessible to people living outside of the state capital, Agartala.
The first virtual session focused on the Dhalai district, featuring 35 participants. The majority of the attendees were from the Janajati community. During the interaction, residents raised concerns spanning healthcare, land disputes, financial assistance, and education. The Chief Minister addressed these issues alongside key officials, including the District Magistrate, the Chief Medical Officer, and various department representatives.
Saha noted that having local officials present during the virtual sessions allows for faster responses and clearer administrative directions. He has instructed all involved departments to follow up on the specific complaints to ensure timely assistance for the citizens. The administration plans to expand this outreach to every district and subdivision in the coming days to strengthen communication between the government and residents in remote areas.
