Tripura Highlights Growth and Investment Progress at NITI Aayog Meeting

Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha presented the state's recent advancements in deregulation, investment attraction, and human resource development during the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi. The event, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Rashtrapati Bhavan, focused on the theme of building human capital to support a developed India.

Saha reported that Tripura has successfully reduced regulatory hurdles and expanded opportunities across key sectors including education, healthcare, sports, and skill development. He emphasized that the state's commitment to creating a vibrant startup ecosystem has been central to its recent progress.

Reflecting on the state's achievements, Saha said, "I mentioned Tripura’s exemplary success in deregulation and compliance reduction, investment attraction, establishment of higher educational institutions, health services, sports, skill development, and startups contributing to human resource development for Vikasit Tripura."

During the national gathering of chief ministers and senior leaders, Saha also remarked on India's broader economic trajectory. He stated that the country is advancing rapidly through a mix of strategic planning, structural reforms, and coordinated national efforts aimed at achieving developed status by 2047.
