Agartala: Tripura officials have finalized arrangements for the upcoming NEET-UG re-examination, which is scheduled to take place on June 21. A total of 4,698 candidates are expected to participate across 10 centers located throughout the state.
West Tripura District Magistrate Vishal Kumar confirmed that the vast majority of test-takers, approximately 4,500 students, will be hosted at nine centers within his district. To maintain the integrity of the process, security protocols involve both the Tripura Police and the CRPF. Officials have placed question papers under tight guard to ensure a secure and transparent testing environment.
"Comprehensive preparations have been made to ensure the re-examination is conducted smoothly, securely and transparently," Vishal Kumar stated during a recent press briefing. Logistics are set for a structured schedule, with doors opening at 11 am and the exam running from 2 pm until 5.15 pm.
The remaining 198 candidates will sit for the exam at a single center in Dhalai district. Dhalai District Magistrate Vivek HB noted that local administration is prepared to provide full support to all participants to ensure the day proceeds without any disruption.
