Agartala: Class IX students across Tripura are hitting the panic button. Their social science textbooks have not arrived. The school year is well underway, but desks remain empty of essential study guides.

Students need these books to prep for upcoming exams. Teachers are stuck. They cannot finish the syllabus without the proper materials. The state board remains under fire as pressure builds to deliver the missing books before the testing window slams shut.

The situation has sparked widespread frustration among parents and faculty. Education officials have yet to explain the massive delay in the supply chain. One local teacher noted, "Students are facing exam anxiety as social science textbooks are yet to arrive." The wait continues while students fall further behind.
