Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited Bardowali Higher Secondary School in Agartala on Tuesday. He vowed to overhaul the state education system. The government wants clean, healthy schools. Officials must turn the facility into a model school.
Saha addressed a specific grievance during the tour. The headmistress reported that students suffer while standing in the scorching sun for morning prayers. He promised a quick fix for the issue. The Chief Minister brought Director of School Education Samit Roy Chowdhury and West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar along for the inspection.
Staffing remains a priority. Saha confirmed the state will hire TET qualified teachers. He intends to balance the budget while filling open vacancies. Addressing concerns over employment, he said, "There is no need to worry." The state recruits new teachers nearly every year to maintain staffing levels.
