Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inducted 469 constables from the 92nd batch and one TSR rifleman from the 15th battalion into the police force on July 18. These new recruits finished 12 months of training. The Passing Out Parade took place at R.K. Nagar. Saha expects these officers to maintain high standards of discipline.

Saha stated: "Dedication and sincerity towards duty enable police personnel to earn both public respect and professional recognition." The state government aims to build a modern, tech-driven force that serves the public with efficiency.

The Chief Minister shifted focus on July 19 to honor local academic talent. He attended a ceremony at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Town Hall in Agartala. The event recognized students from the Town Bardowali Assembly constituency who scored 60 per cent or higher on their Madhyamik and Higher Secondary exams.

Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumder joined the event alongside BJP Sadar District President Asim Bhattacharjee and Bardowali Mandal President Shyamal Kumar Deb. Saha told the students to focus on character as much as grades. He reminded them that they are the architects of tomorrow. The CM encouraged the graduates to prioritize social responsibility as they head into their futures.
