Agartala: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha opened a suite of development projects on Thursday at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala. He wants better civic services. The state aims to balance growth between urban and rural areas to move the region forward. His government focuses on technology to make services transparent and fast.
Dr. Saha touted the progress during the Agartala Municipal Corporation event. He addressed the crowd. "The government is preserving Tripura's rich heritage and culture while simultaneously leveraging modern technology to make public services more efficient, transparent, and citizen-friendly," Dr. Saha said. He told attendees that real success comes when residents actually feel improvements in their daily routines.
The Agartala Municipal Corporation introduced the Sabuj Sena Amar Agartala mobile app and a new Mosquito-free Campaign. Officials also flagged off 51 three-wheeler vehicles to bolster sanitation and trash removal. Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumder joined other corporators and city officials at the ceremony.
The Chief Minister took a jab at political rivals. He claimed the opposition prefers criticism over actual work. He demanded that elected representatives remain accessible and work hard to fix local issues. "Development can be considered successful only when people themselves experience and acknowledge the positive changes in their everyday lives," he said.
