Agartala: Tripura BJP leaders gathered on June 22 to overhaul party strategy. This marked the first core committee session led by state president Abhishek Debroy. High-level figures attended the meeting. Attendees included Chief Minister Manik Saha, Northeast Coordinator Sambit Patra, and party in-charge Dr. Rajdeep Roy.

The group focused on the Village Committee elections. These polls hit the ballot in September. They also touched on plans for future municipal contests. To prep, the party will host a series of meetings at the mandal, district, and block levels. They want to fix internal issues and lock down the grassroots structure.

The party will also run programs for Balidan Diwas between June 23 and July 6. These follow strict orders from national leadership in New Delhi. Regarding the party's direction, Debroy said, "We have focused on the core organisation as well as strengthening the party at the grassroots level."

The meeting aimed to tighten the party machine. Leaders walked through outreach plans to ensure the base stays energized. With new leadership in place, the focus remains squarely on electoral readiness.
