Tokuho Yepthomi Leads New Western Sümi Hoho Executive Team

Kohima: The Western Sümi Hoho held a formal transition ceremony on June 6 at WSH Hiyam in Chekiye village to install its newly elected leadership team. The event marked the official commencement of the 2026 to 2029 tenure for the organization.

Tokuho Yepthomi will lead the incoming executive body as they begin their term. During the proceedings, the new team expressed their commitment to the region, stating they plan to "work for the welfare, unity and progress of the Sümi community."

The ceremony brought together both former and incumbent office bearers to oversee the transfer of responsibilities. Several invited guests also attended the event to witness the start of the organization's next chapter.
